Most of the time the Moray coast is fairly benign but just occasionally after the northerly gales have struck a significant swell develops and the sea fairly pounds the coastal defences. One particular sandstone slab seems to bear the brunt of the impact, the waves wallop it and plumes of spray shoot skywards. I managed to position myself such that the slab turned to shiny gold and the spray became backlit.
